Because of the generosity, leadership, and dedication of supporters and partners, FY25 was a year of meaningful growth and impact for CASL. The newly released FY25 Impact Report, Resilience, reflects what became possible when community comes together to support individuals and families during a time of uncertainty and rising need.

Together, this collective effort resulted in measurable impact. In FY25, CASL served more than 7,400 clients across 209 zip codes, providing critical support through behavioral health and clinical services, legal and immigration assistance, children and youth programs, benefits navigation, housing support, and crisis response. Demand for services has grown by 60 percent over the past six years, reflecting both deepening community need and increased trust in CASL as a reliable source of care. At the same time, CASL saw a 23 percent increase in African American and Hispanic and Latino clients, underscoring its expanding reach across diverse communities.

The FY25 Impact Report also highlights CASL’s growing leadership in policy and advocacy. During a year marked by shifting budgets and policy uncertainty, CASL elevated community voices through its first Advocacy Day at the Illinois State Capitol and testimony before state lawmakers. These efforts helped protect and secure funding for essential programs serving seniors, immigrants, children, and working families, reinforcing the belief that resilience is built through strong and equitable public systems.

Looking ahead, CASL remains focused on advancing policy and advocacy leadership, expanding in-home and community-based services, strengthening internal systems and fiscal resilience, and building a second campus in McKinley Park to meet growing demand. These priorities are designed to ensure CASL remains strong, responsive, and prepared to serve future generations.

The FY25 Impact Report is, above all, a reflection of the trust and partnership that sustain CASL’s work. Your continued engagement and support help ensure that communities can thrive today and for years to come. CASL is deeply grateful for the belief, commitment, and collaboration that make this mission possible.
